Dr Paul Joslin

Senior Tutor

Dr Joslin gets excited about teaching and providing innovative lectures and academic support for students. He has over twenty years experience lecturing and tutoring in Life Sciences.

He founded the SMaRT tutorial programme in 2006, which is available to biology undergraduates. He is interested in the integral philosophy of Ken Wilber, including metaphysics and the philosophy of science. In the lab and field, he supervise projects on the ecology of protozoa and anurans (frog and toads) with third year students.

A few years ago, Dr Joslin qualified as a laughter therapist and worked with recovering drugs addicts, prison inmates and the general public to improve their quality of life.
