Dr Manqoba Zungu

Researcher and Lecturer

Dr. Zungu is an ecologist and conservation biologist with broad interests within the natural sciences domain. He is a recipient of many of many awards including being an invited member into the Golden Key International Honour Society. So far, he has conducted research on avian nutritional ecology, wetland ecology and management, the ecology of fragmented landscapes, and the persistence abilities of vertebrates in human-altered environments. His current work is on multidisciplinary research, focusing primarily on the linkages between the biodiversity, ecosystem services and human well-being in urban green spaces, and on the ecology of human-dominated landscapes.
