Mr Ngobese is an emerging researcher and academic with research interests in (1) Genetic engineering of yeast strains to study the flocculation phenotypes (2) Yeast Glycoprotein research: studies on glycoproteins for biotechnological and medical application. (3) Yeast killer toxins for the purpose of isolating, purification and use as a bio-agent against contaminating non-Saccharomyces yeast during the fermentation process.
