Dr Pamela Gumbi

 
 

Dr Pamela Gumbi is a lecturer in Biochemistry. She has more than 10 years of postgraduate research training and experience in health sciences, specifically mucosal immunology where she strives to find ways to prevent HIV and other sexually transmitted infections in young women. She has published several peer-reviewed articles in a range of high impact factor journals in the area of HIV and STI prevention. She has also made several scientific contributions at conferences, nationally and internationally.
