Dr Ofentse Pooe


Dr. Ofentse Pooe is a protein biochemist with a focus on identifying and producing commercially viable protein biologics. Prior to joining UKZN, Ofentse completed his postdoctoral training on the production and characterization of plant-made biosimilars. His main research interests are based on the production of chimeric-HIV neutralizing antibodies.
